NEW OBAN, SCOTLAND, March 9 — What do pop idol Rudy G. Moneybags, civil engineer Priya McGregor and New Oban mayor Jo Camber all have in common? They’re just three of the high-profile celebrities and public leaders scheduled to participate in the New Oban Express inaugural journey.

Other notable personalities joining us for the occasion include bad-girl MMA champion Bernardine Corbett, soap heartthrob Lucias Luciando, model/actress Juniper Tansy, and of course the entire board of Invertech, including chairman and chief executive billionaire philanthropist Miles Cowden.

The first official run of the New Oban Express is only weeks away, and the express line is slated to complete its very rigorous, 143-point series of final tests and inspections within the next few days. No setbacks or delays on the schedule are anticipated. “We’ve done great work and now it’s time to party,” Cowden has said.

Meanwhile, Invertech officials are gearing up to throw the most glittering party seen on a train since the heyday of the Orient Express. Over a hundred cases of organic artisanal champagne, fifty pounds of sustainably harvested caviar, and a top-secret bespoke confection by celebrated pastry chef Chewy Dubhach will all be on board.
